A guest scans the QR code of a zone — the pool, the lobby, the beach, an event — sees what can be bought there, orders and pays. Food, services, experiences and special offers run through one flow, from order to fulfilment.

The problem

Visitors want to buy on the spot, but most offers sit on paper menus, in conversations or in listings nobody can act on. Hotels and local businesses lose sales they could have made in that moment.

What the platform does

BarrioX is transactional tourism infrastructure, not a directory. Every place is organized into spaces and zones with their own QR codes, and events work as temporary spaces. The guest moves from context to purchase in one flow: see what can be bought, order or reserve, pay, receive.

How it works

  1. 1

    Scan

The guest scans the code of the zone they are in.

  2. 2

    Choose

They see the food, services and experiences available right there.

  3. 3

    Pay

Ordering and payment happen in the same flow.

  4. 4

    Receive

The business fulfils the order and closes it.

Who it is for

Hotels and resorts, restaurants and local service businesses, event organizers and destination partners.

The next layer of Caribbean tourism is transactional

Destinations have spent years improving how they are discovered. The opportunity now is what happens after the guest arrives: seeing what can be bought on the spot, and buying it.
